Big Effort for a Little Tree

I’ve been trying to cultivate my interests and hobbies lately, and one of them is botany. I have several plants now, all with their own names of course, and I watch them closely. My favorite trees are cherry blossoms and Japanese maples, though I do love the trees that line the streets of San Francisco but I just don’t know what they are called. My favorite flowers are lilacs and peonies, though I enjoy lavender and rosebud flavors.

Something that I always wanted to grow, and still do, is a bonsai tree. They require intensive and meticulous care. They have to be pruned often with sterile shears, and at some point in its life, it has to be planted outdoors in the earth with the roots tied so that it won’t grow too big (so I hear).
